Russia tricking kids into revealing key military targets by posting pics on app

SICK Russian special service agents are tricking Ukrainian children into revealing key military targets by posting photos of them on an app.

The Ukrainian security service has rumbled the trick which is feared to have given Russian military chiefs key information for the conflict from the PokemonGo-style app.

On the game kids are looking for “boxes” with virtual prizes including cash. 

Along the route they take photos of the area which include military and critical infrastructure in various settlements that the Russians are after. 

An IT firm controlled by Russian special services has access to the administration of the app. 

They have been using the children to gather information about the location of key strategic targets.

The Security Service of Ukraine rumbled the plot yesterday and published details of it.  

Two teenagers were detained in the Kirovohrad region for taking photos of checkpoints, elevators and transport routes through the game. 

The Security Service of Ukraine issued a statement yesterday which said: “While walking the route, the children take photographs of the terrain, military facilities and critical infrastructure in different settlements.

“Thus, the enemy used Ukrainian children to gather information on the location of strategically important facilities ‘in the dark’.”
